The National Rivers Website: The
River Rendezvous DEAR USER: We are sorry to say that the River Rendezvous software is temporarily not functioning, so the links shown below do not currently work. We are working to get this restored and operational soon. So sorry. -- NORS.
This is your virtual river convention! You can discuss rivers and river issues with other users across the state, across the country, or around the world. See (and post) river reports, opinions, announcements of events, information sources, links to other river sites, and classified ads. First, click on one of the three sections above. You will then see the WebBoard log-in page for that section. If you just want to see some of the discussion, click on GUEST. If you want to both see and post reports and messages, log in as a USER. You will then see a page with a list of CONFERENCES (overall subject areas.) Click on any conference to see the TOPICS (specific subjects.) Then click on any topic to see the individual MESSAGES. If you log in as a USER, you will be able to both see and post messages, and the next time you return to this section, the WebBoard program will show you which messages are NEW since your previous visit! You can also set the program to send you an e-mail message whenever there is a new message on a topic of particular interest to you. You can also try LIVE CHAT to see if there are other people currently on line to chat with. (Once you get to the list of topics, click on HELP on the bar across the top to get further instructions.)
